BOUGIE BABE ON A BUDGET

Hey ya'll!

Let me tell you a little about these past few years for a minute, and it will explain why I've completely rebranded myself!

As with the rest of the world, I feel like I have officially categorized life into "Before Covid" and "After Covid". Anyone else feel that way? In 2021 (so during Covid if you lived in Hawaii), I had 2 of my kids graduate high school, shortly after that, my daughter started and graduated nail school and my son went to California to play football for Orange County College. My other daughter was entering her senior year of high school as a cheer captain, and my youngest decided she wanted to homeschool. You can see why blogging just wasn't in the cards for me at that time.

Now that we've settled into a much more normal routine, I feel like it's time for me to launch out and start the blog business I've always wanted to. Being a mom has been my lifelong dream, and that title will always be my greatest honor. If you've been following me for a while you know that our family loves to travel. And for the past 6 years my motto was #stillnotinitaly. That is a long story that I'll cover later.

My husband took a job at an airlines when the kids were young so that we could be afforded the opportunity to experience the world. We live on an island, and going on vacation is very rare for many of us. As a matter of fact, when my husband started at the airlines, he had FOUR other jobs just to support our family of 6. Because of our many adventures flying standby for 7 years, I learned a lot about travel, budgeting and traveling with a tribe of children.

So here we are. I'm so proud to announce Bougie Babe on a Budget, and I cannot wait to share with you how to thrive on your vacations. I am a firm believer that if you're worrying about finances, it is not a vacation.

Can't wait to turn you into a Bougie Babe on a budget also!

See you soon!

Traveling like a bougie, but on a budget!

Who loves to travel? Who has stopped because it's just too expensive? Or who has anxiety because while you're suppose to be enjoying your time off work, you're pinching pennies while "on vacation". I
